Unlike AURA, many other GPS databases rely largely on locations provided by hobbyists who might not be able to tell a speed camera or a red light camera from a traffic flow camera or a surveillance camera. Snooper Lynx Installation Simply plug the power lead into your cigarette lighter socket, connect to the power bracket and then use the windscreen mount to secure the Snooper Lynx to your vehicles windscreen. Snooper Lynx can be installed onto a motorcycle. An earpiece is available as an optional extra so that audible alerts can be heard.
To provide you with up to the second, realtime, wireless updates Snooper Lynx requires an airtime contract (UK ONLY). There are 3 easy ways to pay using a credit or debit card. 1. Monthly £7.99 inc vat Minimum contract 12 months. Airtime contract provides Snooper Lynx with real time fixed speed camera alerts and updates. In addition Snooper Lynx will allow the user to 'share' mobile speed trap positions with other users and receive mobile positions from other users. Please note that Snooper Lynx, like your mobile phone will not operate without an airtime contract and currently is for UK USE ONLY with the above subscription. For use outside of the UK an additional subscription is payable on a monthly basis, plus roaming charges will apply.
